Style of the Month
Belgian Ale
Rich in brewing history and respected worldwide for the
quality and diversity of its products, Belgium truly lives up to its
much-deserved nickname of “Beer Paradise.” With over 450 distinctly different brews produced by over
130 breweries in a country the size of Maryland, Belgian ales have become some
of the most sought-after beers in the world. In June we will explore some of Belgium’s best examples,
from abbey-style ales with monastic affiliations to spontaneously-fermented
fruit lambics, wheat ales and everything in between.
